This course, offered online or in the classroom, is designed to prepare the student to take the AAPC COC^™ exam for a medical coding career in an outpatient facility such as an Ambulatory Surgical Center or hospital outpatient billing and coding department. The course teaches fundamental coding skills and correct application of CPT®, HCPCS Level II procedure and supply codes and ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes used for coding and billing outpatient facility services to insurance companies.
